FMQuilters Featured in Red DoorArt Gallery Fiber Art Exhibition

Three members of Fargo Moorhead Quilters have their works on display with other area fiber artists at the Red Door Art Gallery in Wahpeton.

Virginia Dambach, Fargo ND, has three pieces on display. “Women’s Words” is a crazy quilt featuring embroidered portraits of her favorite female authors who range from Jane Austen to Maya Angelo. Also on display are “Consider the Lilies of the Field” and “Mother” a crazy quilt dedicated to her mother.

Ryn Pitts, Pelican Rapids MN, contributed “The Picnic Table”, an art quilt in tribute to the coffee and cake gatherings of women.

Bonnie Anderson, Wahpeton ND, has four art quilts included in the exhibition: “Tonto National Forest,” “Sonoran Desert,” “Sonoran Sunset” and “Henrietta” which feature her quilted landscapes– and a chicken.

The exhibition runs through Oct. 28 at Red Door Art Gallery at 418 Dakota Ave, Wahpeton. The hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
