Every purchase helps fund educational opportunities by bringing nationally recognized quilting and fiber art instructors and lecturers to our community.
What You’ll Find
The Metro Fiber Art Auction will feature a variety of original handmade creations, that may include:

Many auction items also include the artist’s story, allowing you to learn about the inspiration behind each creation.

Are you a quilter or fiber artist? We invite you to donate a handmade piece to the Metro Fiber Art Auction.
Your donation helps raise funds to support quilting and fiber art education in our community while giving MQE attendees the opportunity to purchase beautiful, original artwork.
We welcome a wide variety of fiber art—not just quilts. Pieces with exceptional craftsmanship, creativity, and a “wow” factor are always popular with bidders. Original designs are welcome but are not required. Items may also be entered for judging at the Metro Quilt Expo by completing the regular quilt entry process and entry fee. Please indicate it is for the Metro Fiber Art Auction in the Your Quilt Story section of the registration form.
