FM Quilter Bonnie Anderson shares a smart tip for keeping track of what needle is in your machine:

“To remember what needle is in my machine, I use a clothes pin to pin the needle case to the thread bar or just simply pin it and leave by my machine.  I’m sure I’m not the only one that switches between projects or tasks.  I might need to mend my husband’s jeans and then switch back to quilting.”
