FMQuilters Sheltered Newborns

Over the years our group has undertaken many service projects. Back in the early 2000s, while we were still named Quilters’ Guild of North Dakota, we made small quilts for babies in the Neonatal Unit at one of our local hospitals. The quilts were used to shade babies in isolettes to protect these sensitive little beings from the bright lights of their environment. Parents used the quilts to hold their babies and cover them when they were at last able to take their baby home with them as gift of caring from an anonymous quilter.
