The FM Quilters will host a Holiday Brunch on Saturday, November 18th. Join us for a morning of fun, good food, and friendship with fellow quilters. There will be some of your favorite activities and some surprises. Bring your completed 4B quilts and other quilting projects you want to share. But most of all come with your holiday spirit and share the joy of quilting with us all.
Registration will begin available September 16th.
Our yearlong project to provide quilts for veterans on 4B at the Fargo VA Health Center is ending. To date we have provided 61 quilts made by members and friends of FMQ. Can we reach the magic number of 100 by November 18? I think we can. Do you have a 4B quilt hanging out in your sewing room just waiting for binding or a label? You have 79 days to finish your quilt and bring it to the brunch on Nov 18th. Don’t let this special project be a UFO that will follow you for years. You may also help by coming to the morning Sewing Bee on September 16 to make Quilt as You Go quilts for 4B as a group. Let’s show our support for our veterans and Share the Joy of Quilting with a well-deserved community.
