Kathy Melaas made “America The Beautiful” for a very good friend who is a veteran of the Vietnam War.Sue Schmidt’s sampler quilt has been a UFO since 2014 because the online pattern was too small for the size of quilt she wanted to make. Glad she figured it out for the 2023 Resolution Challenge. Susan Schock started “Tulips” several years ago but set it aside to work on other projects. The 2023 Resolution Challenge inspired her to finally complete it.“Stellar Mosaic” from Cotton + Joy pattern was a kit bought at the 2022 Minnesota Quilt Show and started at our 2023 Spring Retreat.Jennifer Lefor’s “Carpenter’s Square” quilt from a pattern by Missouri Star Quilt Co was also begun at the Spring Retreat. Stephanie Pratt made “A Man And His Duck” to donate using leftovers from a quilt she made for her husband. He decided he liked this one better! Ginger Mitchell’s charming 4 Squared Quilt combined animal prints and pastel colors using a traditional Square-in-a-square block. Nothing traditional about this one! Completed thanks to the 2023 Resolution Challenge.Barb Zeleznik made “Safe Landing” for the Cherrywood Monarch Challenge. It is an original design.Char Grant made this quilt as a donation to FMQuilters 4Bs project.Shelley Folkedahl used a YouTube tutorial to whip up this Penny Jeans Quilt.Monica Pavek downloaded the “City Square” pattern from the Internet and is thrilled to have finally used up all the newspaper print fabric in her stash.Kate Ulmer completed a non-quilt project for the 2023 Resolution Challenge but that still counts! The Jelly Roll Rug will replace her ragged (not in a good way) bathroom rug.
