This year’s quilt challenge theme is “Heritage in Blue” to celebrate the collective
history that helped form our nation: it’s people.

Interpret the theme “Heritage” in any way meaningful to you. Example: culture, quilting
traditions, your family history, etc.

Construction Guidelines:

• Your entry must be a minimum of 4 x 6 inches and maximum of 18 x 18 inches.
• It must include a piece of blue fabric at least 2” x 2 “ from your stash. The blue fabric may be any shape you like; it could even be an applique piece. But, it cannot be your binding.
• All entries will part of the FMQ 2026 Challenge displayed at the Metro Quilt Expo September 25th & 26th.
• Register your challenge piece for MQE using the online or mail in form by September 1st.
