Some FM Quilters Still Having Problem Paying By Smart Phone

We hear you! Some FM Quilters continue to have problems paying membership dues and registering for classes through our website using their smart phones.

We promise this is not your fault or ours. There is a known incompatibility between our shopping cart software on a smartphone using PayPal. It seems when you click on the button to pay with PayPal, your screen shows “Processing” without progress and never completes your payment. Argh!

Our advice is if you run into the “Processing Screen Of Death” cancel the transaction. You have 2 options:

  • Cancel the transaction and use PayPal on a laptop or desktop computer
  • Cancel the transaction and use a different payment method

It’s not affecting all transactions with PayPal which makes it doubly frustrating to track down the cause. The technical people are trying to fix it but haven’t given us any updates on their progress.

We very much apologize for the frustration but our hands are tied and we’re at the mercy of the Internet gods. We’ve known about this problem for a while now and both ends of the problem are pointing fingers at each other. Hopefully they’ll get themselves sorted so we can carry on without glitches.
