This is a perfect class for those wanting to try fabric collage but afraid to commit to a quilt. Have fun learning several fabric collage techniques and using up colorful scraps of fabric to create a sweet wall quilt. Approx finished size is 13” x 15”
Supply List:
- Fabric
- House Fabrics
- Muslin or Waste fabric or quilters grid to use as foundation, approx. 12” square
- Floral or graphic scraps in contrasting colors and various shades from light to dark
- Fabrics with motifs/flowers that you can fussy cut. (Amy will bring a few boxes of scraps to share!)
- Background fabrics… Fat Quarter of sky blue
- House Fabrics
- Batting
- Backing
- Binding
- Other Materials/Notions
- Glue Stick and/or fusible web (Elmer’s glue stick works well)
- Black thread and/or threads to match fabrics
- Sewing machine with free motion capabilities
- Ruler
- Rotary Cutter
- Rotary Cutting Mat
- Paper Scissors
- Freezer Paper (optional)
- Fabric Scissors
Pattern and printed panel will be provided at no cost.
Per Board policy, no refunds will be issued. If you cannot attend, the registration is transferable.
