Sometimes a quilting project just does not get finished and becomes a lonely UnFinished Object (a UFO). Perhaps there were good intentions but somehow, some way, it did not get done. Can you relate? If so, help is on the way!

All FMQ members are invited to sign up for the 2026 Resolution Challenge. Pick out one of your UFOs and “resolve” to finish it this year. It becomes your Resolution Quilt. It goes from sitting on the shelf to action. As part of the challenge, you will get encouragement along the way and know that fellow quilters are working alongside you. Best of all there is a great sense of accomplishment when UFOs are lonely no more!!

There is no deadline for signing up and the guidelines are simple:
1) You may choose any quilting/fiber art project; need not be a full-sized quilt
2) Your project should have been with you for at least a year (longer the better!)
3) You may enter more than one project, as many as you like
4) There is a $5 fee for each project entered in the Challenge
5) The end date for the challenge is the November meeting (holiday brunch)
6) There will be drawings for prizes; your name will be entered for each completed
project. You do not need to be present to win.
