Fargo Moorhead Quilters has been invited to have a booth at this year’s Christmas On The Prairie event at Bonanzaville on Saturday, December 2nd. This will be a great opportunity to meet the public and promote ourselves to new members.
We will have a display of holiday themed quilted items: wall hangings, table runners, placemats, even bed quilts if you have one. In addition to the display, we will demonstrate whatever quilting technique you want. There will be electricity and good lighting in the booth area so you can choose to work on your sewing machine or do some handwork. It’s up to you!
We need volunteers to:
- Work a 1.5 hour shift setting up or taking down the booth display
- Set up filled
- 4 – 5:30 pm need 2 volunteers
- Work a 2 hour shift in the booth demonstrating quilting skills
- 10 am – 12 pm filled
- 12 – 2 pm need 1 volunteers
- 2 pm – 4 pm need 1 volunteer
- Contribute Christmas or winter themed quilts for the display
