FM Quilters displayed Christmas quilts and demonstrated quilting techniques to the delight of people who attended Christmas On The Prairie at Bonanzaville on December 2, 2023. \
Thanks to our volunteers who came in to stitch in public, FM Quilters recruited two new members on the spot and four more who plan to join after the holidays are over. Bonanzaville gave us a wonderful spot in the museum lobby where everyone who came to the event passed by. Many people stopped to ask questions, share stories about mothers and grandmothers who quilted, and find out more about FM Quilters’ mission and activities. Thanks to our volunteers:

The high point for our audience was Quilter Barbie who grabbed the attention of every little girl who came by our booth. Thanks to Kim Baird who lent us her Barbie and teeny tiny quilting studio.
