February 2024 Show And Tell

February was a delightful month for show and tell. Fifteen quilters displayed 25 completed projects in addition to some charming fabric postcards from workshop participants.

Kim Baird’s President’s Quilt used the rail fence squares members of FM Quilters gifted to her using a traditional Chinese Coins design. The result is anything but traditional.

Vangie Johnson Parker completed a charming applique wall hanging “In Hopes That St. Nicholas Soon Would Appear”
Kendra Hull’s “Slipknot” quilt featured a border of Tampa Bay Buccaneer fabric.
Stephanie Pratt may not remember where the pattern for “Coping Squares” came from but she used up a lot of leftovers
Virginia Dambach’s “Ort Jar” began as a raw edge pieced rectangle she decorated with improvisational embellishment.
This lovely quilt didn’t have a show and tell slip to tell the editor who showed it but it’s a beaut.

“Sisterly Love” showed by Lona Daley Getz is a Piece of Cake pattern that was one of her sister Barb’s UFO. Lona completed the unfinished of the blocks and put it all together as a gift for her other sister Jan. Lucky Jan.
