Program: Embroidery Evolution

Embroidery is a generic term to describe the art of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to stitch thread or yarn. Embroidery, one of the oldest forms of textile art, has origins dating back thousands of years across various cultures. Sandra Gordon will give an overview and show examples of current embroidery types and techniques.
