Spring is sprung, the grass is riz and we’re wondering where the flowers is. Not to worry, they’re on the way. There are reports of perennial flowers sprouting above ground on the south side of some houses. In the meantime, you can bring some Flower Fairies into your life at our May workshop. In June and July, we’re shaking things up and moving our monthly meetups into the great outdoors at Lindenwood Park in Fargo. In June, Kim Baird will be teaching how to make your own unique fabrics by Discharge Dyeing. It’s the process of removing color from fabric using various chemicals such as bleach to make interesting and original patterns. Then in June, Barb Zeleznik will be teaching EcoDying where you’ll make your own unusual fabrics using actual flowers, leaves and plant materials to create designs through the natural dye and color inherent in the plant.
