Tip of the Week: Quick Rip

I think the worst part of ripping out a seam is picking out all the little stray threads. I learned a tip from Amy Smart’s blog that makes ripping less of a pain. On the bobbin side of a seam, use your seam ripper to cut every fourth or fifth stitch. Then flip it over and pull the top thread, it comes out magically in one piece and you can brush off the bobbin threads bits with a toothbrush.
