Yes, it’s true, Quilters’ Guild of North Dakota is now FARGO MOORHEAD QUILTERS.

Don’t panic, we are making the changeover gradually. We respond to both names for the next few months. Look for our new logo soon!

Why change our name? Good Question. When we organized in 1980, we were the only guild in the state of North Dakota and since we incorporated in the state of North Dakota, it naturally became part of our name. Forty-two years later the quilting landscape has changed dramatically. There are now quilt groups throughout North Dakota and Minnesota, and now most of our members come from the metro area of Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo. Our new name describes us more accurately. This is part of a rebranding initiative to focus our group on the future and encourage new members who want to learn to quilt, want to strengthen their skills, or just want to support the work we do in spreading the joy of quilting.
