Emily Reynolds Historic Costume Collection Tour

Housed at North Dakota State University, the Emily Reynolds Historic Costume Collection (ERHCC) is a repository of material culture focusing on clothing, textiles & related items. The collection works to reveal how such objects serve as a record of life through collection, preservation, and study. In addition to a wide array of women’s clothing and textiles representing many decades, ERHCC includes a  Women In Politics Collection, the Around The World Doll Collection, and the Germans From Russia Textile Collection.

Advance Registration is required for the tour which is led by Susan Curtis, the collection manager at NDSU. Each time slot can accommodate a minimum 5/maximum 10 people per session. Sign up here

A campus and parking map will be provided for registrants. Cost is $6 per person. FMQ will donate $5 per person to the Emily Reynolds Costume Collection to support their work.

Car-pooling is encouraged. Parking is allowed in Visitors Lot E at the corner of Albrecht Blvd and 14th St North or the Visitors Lot on the south side of the Memorial Union. There is one handicapped parking spot in front of the building on Centennial Blvd and also some in the Union Parking lot.

Meet for the tour on the 4th floor of the Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Family Life Center Building (# 83 on the map). Since the building is locked on Saturdays someone will meet you at the building door. Please don’t be late.
