Bonnie Anderson Quilts Featured in Art Gallery

Just a few of Fargo Moorhead Quilters member Bonnie Anderson’s quilts are currently on display at the Red Door Art Gallery in Wahpeton, ND. Visitors can enjoy an array of nature themed quilts for which Bonnie is known so well. The show will be on display through November 12, 2022.

The Red Door Gallery is located at 418 Dakota Avenue in Wahpeton, ND. Gallery hours are 10:00 am – 5:00 pm Tuesday through Friday and 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Saturday. The gallery is closed Sunday and Monday.

Artist Bio

Bonnie and her husband Peder, have lived in Wahpeton, North Dakota since their retirement in 2014.  Bonnie is a retired Family Nurse Practitioner.  She has been playing with fabric since grade school, first sewing garments, then since 1995 quilting.  In recent years she has been designing her own textile works.  She sews with cotton, linen, and wool and recently has been hand dyeing fabric to use in her pieces.  A variety of techniques are used in her works including, hand and machine applique, hand and machine quilting, and hand and free motion machine embroidery.  Most of her inspiration comes from nature.
