May Workshop – Wee People Fairy Ornament Class

Where: NDSCS-Fargo (across from the Fargodome) 

If you have fallen in love with Salley Mavor’s “wee people” but missed the class when it was offered in December, join us for the encore introductory class. Each person, or adult & child (6+) team, will learn to create the body structure, wrap arms and legs with floss, assemble dress, add hair  and wings, and create the wooden bead face. In class, you’ll construct these poseable figures, dress them, give them hair and a personality. Each one is different. The fairy kit will include everything that’s needed to make the ornament.

Class fee: $10 per person (Child teamate is free)

Kit fee $5 collected in class
Kit includes:
Chenille stems, embroidery floss, wooden bead, silk flowers, wool roving, felted wool, and written instructions. In addition, glue, colored pencils, patterns and scissors will be provided for in class use.
